What to Pack
You are coming on an adventure.Prepared & Comfortable.
This is a short list to ensure you are prepared and most comfortable.
Entering the Reserve
Entering the Reserve, there is a dirt road of about 2.5km.
So please drive with a high clearance vehicle, SUV or 4×4.
The roads are not made for low slung vehicles.
Your Drivers’ License and a Valid ID or Passport.
Medical Aid number for any emergency.
Travel insurance for international guests.
Clothing
A pair of good walking shoes, slippers and sandals.
Sunglasses, sun hats and sun block.
Light wind proof warm jacket.
Comfortable clothing, preferably natural fabric clothing for your outdoor adventures.
Swimwear in summer months (October to March).
Accessories
A camera with spare batteries (optional).
Binoculars.
Chargers for your electronics.
A personal pocket torch with batteries (optional but handy).
Personal
We do have a basic First Aid Kit but please bring any emergency medication you normally need.
Personal items such as;
lip ice, nail clippers, reading glasses, contact lenses,
a lighter if you smoke, cigarettes or cigars,
Special Interest reference books,
A hairdryer, hair straightener & hairbrushes.
If you like lots of ice in your drinks, stock up with a few bags of ice.
Personal needs – reading books, your art equipment, writing pad, musical instrument, fishing rods, bicycles.
